The scene is a second or two
before RMS OLYMPIC collided with Lightship #117, Nantucket Snoals
during thick fog. The steamship was homing in on the lightship's
radio beacon, the watch officers aboard the liner confident they
were passing clear. The collision sent the lightship to the bottom
and seven of her eleven man crew were lost.
